Will I be allowed to stay with my child during their dental appointment?

Northborough MA Children's Dentist We Want Your Child to Be Comfortable

Visits to the dentist can be as challenging for you as for your child. At Children’s Dentistry of Northborough, we respect your concerns and are happy to allow one parent to be with their child during their visits with us.

Tips For A Great First Visit

We encourage you to help your child by using positive words and actions prior to their first visit. Don’t be too specific about what will happen during dental visits, because it’s easy for your child to get overwhelmed by too much information. When you bring them for their visit, we will introduce them gradually to the sights, sounds, and equipment we use.

Avoid speaking in negative terms about dental treatment. Kids pick up on things even when you think they’re not listening, so keep any negative feelings to yourself. Don’t make a big deal out of the visit, either. If they sense that you’re nervous or apprehensive, they’ll respond in the same way.

Our team is dedicated to helping our young patients achieve great oral health that will last a lifetime. We have the experience and training necessary to put your child at ease and help them see dental care as a positive thing.

Due to CDC and local government recommendations, we have made the difficult decision to close our office until further notice for all patients with general dental needs. This was an extremely tough decision to make, and we appreciate your understanding and patience. It is our privilege to care for your children’s oral health and we look forward to continuing to do so. We are monitoring the situation closely as it changes and will post updates accordingly. If your child does have a dental emergency, please call our office right away. 508-393-9394.
