Dr. Jolanta Macdonald graduated cum laude (with high honors), earning her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Colgate University in 1996. She then attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2000. During dental school, Dr. Macdonald completed a two-month general dentistry oral surgery externship at Hartford Hospital. She treated children at Children’s Medical Center in Washington, D.C., during her two-year Pediatric Dentistry residency. She graduated in 2002 and has been practicing pediatric dentistry since. In 2011, she became Certified as a Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Macdonald also completed an Associate Fellowship through the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2013.
In December 2004, Dr. Macdonald built and opened Children's Dentistry of Northborough. She is the sole owner and works with her general dentist husband, Craig and orthodontist friend, Anita. Children's Dentistry of Northborough is a family practice made up of clinicians that take pride in the excellent dental care they provide.
Dr. Macdonald is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Dentists Alliance, and Mommy Dentist in Business group. She was a courtesy staff member at Children’s Hospital in Boston from 2004 until 2019 where she was responsible for overseeing dental residents in the clinic.
In her leisure time, Dr. Macdonald enjoys scuba diving, spending time with her family, skiing, and taking photographs of her children, Kaitlyn, Alex, and Madi Rose. She has two goldendoodles named Teddy and Cali and a senior Korat cat name Violet.
Dr. Craig Macdonald joined our practice in 2011 and works with us on some Fridays and Saturdays to offer general dentistry services to our teen and adult patients. Dr. Macdonald graduated from Colgate University with majors in biology and economics.
He attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1999. Upon graduating he continued his education with a one-year General Practice residency at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT. In July 2010, he received the Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Macdonald first entered private practice in Rockville, Maryland, before returning to New England in 2002. He worked as an associate dentist in Hopkinton for four years before arriving at his current location in Natick. Dr. Macdonald is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2013, he completed an Associate Fellowship through the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Macdonald is married to Dr. Jolanta Macdonald, and they have three children. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his three children, skiing, swimming, and golfing.
Dr. Bhatt has been practicing in Westboro since 2000. She received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, before earning both a Certificate of Graduate Training and a Master of Dental Science degree in Orthodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

When she’s not busy helping our patients, Dr. Bhatt enjoys spending time with her three children, running, and photography.
Dr. Laila Dantas is a Northborough native and Algonquin Regional High School graduate. She continued her education at Washington University in St. Louis where she graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) in Biology. After college, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. She graduated with honors and was awarded the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award. Upon graduation, she completed a general practice residency at the Cambridge Health Alliance / Harvard School of Dental Medicine. As a proud member of the National Health Service Corps, Dr. Laila served in rural Maine for two years. It was here that she found her passion lay in treating children. Dr. Laila pursued further training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and is a board certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Laila is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Laila enjoys yoga, playing the piano, volunteering, and spending time outdoors with her family, friends and her dog Remus. She loves to travel and has participated in dental outreach projects in Chile and India.
